Amber and Alex’s Fun and Playful Beach Couple Pictures at Laguna Beach
Amber and Alex were amazing to work with! We collaborated on outfits, built a Pinterest board together, and exchanged videos to ensure we were aligned. We also made sure the chosen location matched the vision for the session. This process is something I love doing with my couples! It helps me understand their vibe and ideas for their photos. It also helps couples communicate their vision for their session! During the session, I always feel out the couple's connection and let that guide my prompting and posing. If a couple is more playful than lovey-dovey, I lean into that, using prompts that feel genuine to bring out natural moments. This session was a statement to that!
Amber and Alex have a fun and playful relationship. With two kids, they wanted some photos that focused on their connection as a couple. Although they're local to Southern California, they shared that one of their favorite things is having pictures taken in the places they travel, using them as souvenirs. I thought that was such a special and great idea. It creates a wonderful keepsake and can spark conversations with their kids and grandkids one day!
