  • Hi, I'm Kelsey! With my roots planted in Southern California and my heart constantly wandering the globe. I am a passionate photographer who believes in cherishing the beauty of both home and the world.

    Photography has been my true calling for many years. What fascinates me most is the way bodies gracefully intertwine and the intricate details that make each person unique. I strive to capture those fleeting, in-between moments—the ones you may not even realize you're creating. It's these details that melt your heart and you hope you never forget. Whether it's the way your fingers gently curl together with his or the adorable nose scrunch that escapes with ab-aching belly laughter, I consider myself truly lucky to be able to pursue my passion and share it with countless people all over the world.

  • Photography has transformed me and shaped me into a better person. I used to believe that I didn't crave meeting new people, that I had all the connections I needed. But every person who has stepped in front of my camera has unknowingly given me something invaluable—confidence, love, support, and strength. I'm captivated by the stories people have to share, the experiences that have shaped them and the challenges they've overcome.     Time has breezed past me in what feels like the blink of an eye. Teenage love, purchasing a first home, the joy of marriage, and the tender moments with soft baby hair and skin—all of it vanishes too quickly.   • Among all the names I've been called, "Mama" holds a special place in my heart. My 5-year-old son brings so much joy to my life with his incredible imagination and thirst for knowledge. He loves sharing fascinating facts about his favorite things. I treasure the moments when he asks me to join him in our "snuggle spot" or tells me he loves me out of the blue. These are the days I know I'll miss dearly.

    My world wouldn't be complete without my husband, who is truly my better half. He is my high school sweetheart, and witnessing our journey unfold has been an extraordinary privilege.   • WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?

    I am based in Southern California where we have beautiful beaches, mountains, and deserts. We have access to phenomenal national parks, state parks, and public land. I can help recommend places that fit your vision!

    If you are looking for sessions outside of Southern California, please inquire about my travel availability. I love to travel and shoot worldwide!

  • HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER?

    The amount of images provided varies between sessions and my different wedding packages. These are your images and your memories! I would never withhold images that belong with you and I promise to deliver any and all images that help tell your story.

  • WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?

    Turn around time for sessions is 2-3 weeks, and turn around time for weddings is 4-6 weeks. Your images are thoughtfully selected and will arrive back to you reflecting the beauty of your memories.

  • WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE LIKE? DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

    I require a $150 retainer due at the time of booking for sessions. The remainder is due prior to the start of the session.

    For weddings, I require $1,000 due at booking. The remaining balance is due one month prior to the wedding. If you would like to split the remainder into smaller payments, I am more than happy to set up payment plans and work with you!

  • DO YOU GIVE OUT UNEDITED PHOTOS?

    I do not give out unedited images. Images are thoughtfully selected and edited to provide you with a complete and stylized gallery.

  • CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?

    I only photoshop out things that are temporary like acne, scrapes or bruises unless you want it left in. I never alter the things that make you, you! If there is something you are self-conscious about, I would love to chat before the session and make sure we are creating in a way that is comfortable for your body.

  • WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE TIME FOR BOOKING INQUIRIES AND QUESTIONS?

    I will get back to all inquiries and contacts within 2 business days (Monday-Friday).

  • What time of day can we do our session?

    I do all sessions during the soft, golden light 1-2 hours before sunset or after sunrise. This excludes weddings, elopements, and indoor sessions. Spring and Summer sunset times are later and Fall and Winter sunset times earlier. If you are worried about kids’ bed times, keep in mind that they normally do fine during a session since it is a novel and fun environment. If you would rather schedule a session with an earlier session time, I recommend looking into a Fall or Winter date.

  • WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL?

    If there is a need to cancel after your retainer has been made, we can move the date if it is available in my schedule; however, the retainer is non-refundable and no refunds will be given. Wedding and elopement reschedules must be made at least two months in advance of your date. If you have a schedule change, please reach out immediately so we can work on accommodations.

  • WHAT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?

    Under only the most extreme and unfortunate events would I be unable to make your session or wedding. In this situation, I would try my best to find a replacement photographer. If I am unable to do so, the situation would be handled in accordance with our contract and your money would be refunded.

  • WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR SESSION?

    I’ve heard numerous times that the reason people haven’t scheduled sessions sooner is because they don’t want to stress about what to wear. Schedule the session! I help you every step of the way with styling. I will help put together inspiration boards as well as specific examples making the whole session coordinate. I will send you links for anything you like making the process smooth and as stress-free as possible.

  • WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?

    I’d encourage carrying on with a session through mild weather. This can add to the experience and bring unique memories to your photos. If weather is too extreme and is unsafe for us or my gear, we will reschedule the session for a later date.

  • DO YOU HELP WITH PLANNING?

    Yes! I’ve got you! I can give recommendations and help with timelines for weddings to ensure there is a flow to the day. This helps take the stress off you and ensures we target moments that you dream of having captured.

  • HOW DOES COVERING TRAVEL WORK?

    Starting prices for base packages are listed under the pricing section. Travel fees are built into my travel packages so what you see is what you get. If you need a little more than what my packages offer, I have add-ons we can discuss to make sure you’re getting exactly what you need.

  • DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

    I do not offer discounts, my pricing is firm.
