When I first spoke with Savannah and Tyler about shooting their wedding, they made one thing very clear. They just wanted their story told. I know that may seem like an overused trope; however, for me it was really important that they feel comfortable and be able to express themselves! I really wanted them to be able to be themselves and allow me to be a part of their moment. For a lot of people, the engagement shoot is like a test run for their wedding, and that’s how it was for them! We started our photoshoot in Laguna Beach and the results were breathtaking!

Laguna Beach & A PLAYFUL LOVE = THE BEST EngagEment Photo SESSION EVER

Both of them were from Ventura, CA and they knew that they wanted the rocky backdrops and beautiful views of Laguna Beach, it was the perfect place for them! Once we got there the weather was super windy! And, while most would shy away they really leaned into it and did not let that stop them from loving each other and having fun! You can really see throughout the photos how no matter the weather they are there for each other and nothing more, which was so sweet to be a part of! During this fun and unique session, they both had 2 looks that they wanted photos in. The second look was more polished and we left that towards the end of our shoot around sunset to capture some romantic and intimate photos. I think we totally nailed it! Throughout this entire session, they ran, spun around, played in the water, and were just overall cute! I loved the energy that they had - I remember leaving this session thinking, “Wow, that was incredible!!” By understanding their priorities, capturing meaningful moments for them and letting them just have fun, you can tell that they felt really comfortable and let their true selves shine, which is always my goal in every single session! I was so excited to be a part of their journey and get to capture their love at Laguna Beach!!
